The EVENT is

The POLIMI GSoM Regatta is the international sailing event organized annually by the POLIMI GSoM Sailing Club, one of the most important occasions of those created by the POLIMI Graduate School of Management’s clubs.

Sailing

The regatta offers a unique sailing experience that celebrates nautical skill and personal growth through two carefully designed competitive divisions.

For expert sailors, the one-design fleet competition provides a pure test of individual prowess, featuring potential boat classes like J25, J70, and Este 24, which ensure that success depends entirely on the sailor's technique and strategy. These races contribute to the prestigious MBA Sailing League rankings, offering participants a chance to showcase their abilities on an international stage.

The second division welcomes emerging sailors, providing a more supportive environment with cruise fleet boats and the option to include local expert skippers. This approach ensures that less experienced participants can learn, grow, and enjoy the sailing experience without feeling overwhelmed. The division emphasizes learning, enjoyment, and the gradual development of nautical skills in a welcoming and professional setting.

The aim of the event, given the international character ensured by the participation of alumni from the most prestigious European Business Schools, is the involvement of companies of unquestionedprestige in extremely technological fields. These are companies that attract global attention both in terms of the aspects of innovation they offer and because of the sustainability policies they adhere to in the pursuit of their objectives.

In line with the mission of our Club, the organization aims to bring as speakers at the conference that will be held at the end of the event, also the testimony of companies that express trends of innovation in terms of design and technology in the market of recreational and offshore sailing boats.

This location is a harmonious blend of natural beauty and innovative design, recently honored with the prestigious Blue Marina Awards. Thursday

Friday

introduces the first day of regattas, where sailing skills are put to the test against the backdrop of Sardinia's magnificent coastline. Lunch served on board creates intimate moments of connection, while extra sports activities ensure continuous engagement and excitement.

Saturday

escalates the experience with the second day of regattas, followed by a prestigious conference that promises insights from industry leaders. The day culminates in a glamorous gala dinner and awards ceremony, celebrating achievements and creating lasting memories.
