Costa Smeralda

Cala dei Sardi offers the opportunity to introduce participants in the POLIMI GSoM Regatta 2025 to one of the most fascinating and attractive areas of Italy.

Gallura and the north-east coast of Sardinia, famous for its sparkling life between the sea and elegant squares, are the jewel in the crown in terms of what is on offer for tourists.

The jagged coasts open onto the turquoise sea of the Costa Smeralda and onto small coves that hide warm beaches with the softest sand.

The Costa Smeralda and the surrounding area offer an exclusive paradise which takes on the austere shape of the Longosardo tower, which dominates the tourist port of Santa Teresa Gallura, and overlooks the La Maddalena Archipelago, an inestimable naturalistic treasure with Spargi, Cala Corsara, Budelli and its pink beach. In front of the La Maddalena Archipelago, in Palau, the bear-shaped rock that has dominated the bay for centuries and which it divides with the turtle rock, located in Cala Ghjlgolu, is a selfie destination for all visitors. A trip to the island of Caprera offers a wonderful boat trip among transparent seabeds, but also a visit to the house of Giuseppe Garibaldi, whose final resting place will offer unique emotions.
